The musical partnership sees Martyn Evans each week teaching pupils from partnership schools and many of the players at the concert started with him at their primary school.
Luke Mather, meanwhile, provides group choral tuition each week in the partner primary schools.
And pupils in the two drumming groups at Mossley Hollins receive tuition are taught by Matthew Rigg, Graham Bell directs the guitar group and rock band while Caroline Ratcliff directs the pop choir.
“The schools finance the brass and choral tuition and without this financial investment the pupils would not have been performing at the concert,” explained Steve Beardmore, head of arts and sports specialism and partnerships.
Children from Buckton Vale, Livingstone, Mickelhurst All Saints, Milton St John’s and St George’s joined Mossley Hollins students.
