MOSSLEY AFC Running Club’s Michelle Styan ran the Stanley Park 10k a staggering 23 minutes faster than last year.
Michelle, who ran her first-ever 10k at the Blackpool event last year, clocked 1hr 9min this time.
Steph Hannington joined Michelle on the day to support her and crossed the line alongside her.
The weekend festival, hosted by Fylde Coast Runners, saw 10k runs hosted each day.
And Mossley’s Jenny Day competed both days clocking 1hr on the Saturday and 54min 25sec on Sunday.
Mossley runners also enjoyed success in the Meltham 10k that was ladies’ day as Helen Gregory was a winner in her age category in 47.31 and Emma Bowen was third in her age group in 48.38.
Tom Smith also competed and crossed the line in 46.53.
Eight Mossley runners were among the 2,500 who took part in Southport’s famous Mad Dog that was arranged by Southport Hesketh Round Table.
Taking part were Lesley Moreland, Lorraine Gibbs, Paul Bates, Ste Bates, Yvonne Phoenix, Hayley McCloud, Kerry Seel and Michelle Styan.
Ste Lee clocked 43.46 in the Dewsbury 10k while Neil Thomas finished the Nick Beer 10k at Llandudno in 55.37.
And Harvey Nuttall, preparing for the Virgin Money London Marathon, completed the Great North West Half at Blackpool in a personal best time of 2hrs 14min.
Ann Warburton completed the Huddersfield 10k in 1hr 11min which was five-and-a-half minutes faster than last year.
Members have also been taking part in parkruns, three members taking part at Lyme Park.
Shaun Mason, Hayley McCloud and Kerry Seel described the views as stunning, but the route and conditions were tough.
The same day on the Stamford parkrun youngest club member Robyn Gregory was paced round by her mum Helen and achieved a personal best time of 25.33.
