EX-SERVICEMEN are being offered a free meal as a Mossley bistro honours the fallen.
Sweet Vintage, which stands opposite George Lawton Hall on Stamford Street, is holding an afternoon tea on this Remembrance Sunday.
And as the country marks 100 years since the end of the First World War, the first ex-serviceman to book will be given a free lunch for two people.
Blue Duck Campers, a company which hires out motorhomes, is supporting the scheme as they want to thank for the service and sacrifice of the veterans.
Staff at Sweet Vintage will also be dressing up and playing all the old golden oldies.
Afternoon tea will be served at 2pm and is available priced £15 per adult, £10 per pensioner and £7.50 per child.
If you want to book, call 01457 237838, message or email sweetvintagemossley@
