TRIBUTE band Pinked Floyd are returning to Mossley’s George Lawton Hall by popular demand.
This seven-piece Oldham-based tribute band offers an engaging and energetic performance celebrating the magical music of Pink Floyd.
With a stunning laser and video show to complement their exciting and amazingly accurate performance of music spanning the entire output of the Floyd, they perform a selection of tracks from across the discography in a two-and-a-half hour set.
The ever-popular Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall are well represented, with a couple of less familiar tracks for the real aficionado.
Here are some reactions to recent shows: “Absolutely amazing night, music is banging. If you closed your eyes and just listened you’d actually think you were at a real Floyd concert” (Brian Pilling)
“I’m a lifelong Floyd fan and this was one of the best tribute band performances I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen plenty).
“Vocals, instrumentals and general presentation was faultless. Note-perfect guitar solos and the enthusiasm of the band and their joy in playing this great music came over loud and clear. Really got the impression that they loved Floyd as much as me, and the rest of the audience, did.” (Mike Halls).
“My heroes will never be forgotten as long as you are on the stage and that’s from a 68-year-old roadie of the original PF! You are another brick in the wall!” (David Larkin, former PF roadie)
Tickets for the show on Friday, November 23 cost £12 and are available to buy online:
