EMMAUS Mossley, is inviting supporters to a Vintage Christmas Market at their Secondhand Superstore on Saturday, November 17 from 9.30am-4.30pm.
It will launch Emmaus’ Christmas display and include a range of festive stalls for all tastes and budgets.
Available at the event will be a wide selection of vintage and retro decorations, secret Santa gifts, presents for under a fiver and lots of reusable Christmas trees.
Gary, one of the people who lives and works at Emmaus Mossley, said: “I am really looking forward to the Christmas event and seeing all the happy, smiling faces who visit us at this time of year.”
In addition to the stalls, the collectables room will be open and Santa will be visiting from 2pm.
Lucie’s Café will serve lots of festive food and drinks throughout the day.
Hazel Hodkinson, retail manager at Emmaus Mossley, said: “This year we are keen to promote the idea of ‘a pre-loved Christmas’ – reusing perfectly good quality items instead of buying new ones.
“Whether you are looking to decorate your home, find unique presents at a great price or looking for additional dining chairs, Emmaus Mossley has the lot!”
Emmaus has limited space for external stall-holders but if you are interested in booking a stall email firstname.lastname@example.org
On the day, there will also be a lantern making workshop at 1pm for the upcoming 12 Days of Mossley Christmas event.
The workshop is free to attend and open to all ages but children must be accompanied by adults.
Lantern makers will need to commit to taking part in the 12 Days of Mossley Christmas event on November 24.
