WOMEN’S football is coming to Mossley.
A new team – Mossley AFC Women – will be based at Seel Park and is recruiting players.
And Mossley have appointed Chris Brooks and Dame Blackshaw as the new management team for the women’s side.
Brooks, who will be manager, and Blackshaw join the Lilywhites from Curzon Ashton.
Brooks has more than 17 years’ experience and a successful record of developing female players as well as achieving success at league and cup level.
Mossley say they are aiming to:
• Promote all aspects of women’s football.

•️ Build and develop a team with the desire and commitment to progress.
•️ Encourage women to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
•️ Offer a safe environment that is welcoming to all.
The team is open to woman aged 16 and over who are passionate about football and looking for a fun and friendly team to join.
It offers regular training and player development with FA qualified coaching, competitive matches and tournaments and social events.
