IT will be a paradise for gin lovers at Stamford Golf Club on Saturday, August 10.
The club is hosting its first-ever Gin Fest that day from 3pm.
And with a stall featuring 30 different gins, there will be plenty of tipples to taste.
The festival is an informal event with no ticketing, just turn up on the day at the golf club on Huddersfield Road, Carrbrook.
It is being promoted as a family event with live music on the club’s new terrace from guitarist Charlie Whittaker while there will also be a barbecue.
Gin Fest, which has been organised by stewardess Francesca D’Iorio, is one of a growing number of events Stamford are organising to open up the golf club to the public.
They have included a Halloween party, mistletoe and dine Christmas night, Valentine’s night and 1980s and 90s music.
Fran said: “We are trying to open the club more to the public, something which has proved very successful.
“With our new terrace offering gorgeous views of the golf course, there is no better place to be.”
