TAMESIDE Trade Plastics is a new company set up in Dukinfield.
It offers a trade counter at the Ravensfield Industrial Estate, Charles Street, for fascias, soffets, gutters, trims, silicones, lead, fibre glass, roofing materials, screws and other fixtures and ancillary products.
Tameside Trade Plastics is not only for tradesmen but also for your ordinary Joe Public.
“Our first customer was a taxi driver who was passing and called in as he wanted things for DIY he was doing at home,” explained trade counter manager Shawn Khwaja.
Shawn began his working life in Ashton and is an expert having worked for other plastic companies for the last 15 years.
Tameside Trade Plastics is hoping that Shawn’s intimate knowledge of the products and advice he can offer will be a selling point in what he describes as a “very competitive market sector”.
The company ethos is to continuously negotiate deals with new and existing suppliers, adding to the product range as demanded by the consumer.
Tameside Trade Plastics will become a one-stop shop so whatever your needs they aim to be able to source it for you.
They offer a free delivery service within the borough for the trade, subject to a minimum spend.
