FAIRTRADE Mossley recently held a Fair Ted’s teddy bears’ picnic to help mark the national organisation’s 25th anniversary.
It was a very successful event at Mossley Methodist Church with many Fairtrade supporters attended along with families with young children.
The children enjoyed searching for pictures of Fairtrade products in jelly, making badges and a mini Fair Ted. Old fashioned games like bagatelle proved popular with youngsters while parents tried their skills with a giant Jenga game.
There was a celebration cake and picnic tea. Everyone contributed in creating a huge Fairtrade Mark which has been on display in Mossley Co-op.
