SPECIALIST travel agent DisabledHolidays.com was recognised at the Pride of Tameside Awards, scooping the 2019 Family Business of the Year accolade.The Dukinfield-based business takes the stress and worry out of holidaying for disabled customers by providing them with support throughout their booking and travel experience.

They are the UK’s largest accessible holiday specialists who take care of everything from choosing, booking, preparing to go, travelling, holidaying and coming home; both nationally and internationally.

Gillian Moorhouse-Hoole, Business Development Manager, said: “The ethos of our business focuses on our customers as part of our extended family, which is why this award is particularly special for us.

“We are a family-owned and family-run business with our roots in the Mossley area. We have grown quite considerably in the last 10 years but we have maintained our presence in Tameside.

Owned by Paul Nadin and operated by his daughter, CEO Bethany Nadin, DisabledHolidays.com employs 30 staff headed up by Sales and Training Manager Donna Benzie.
