PINKED Floyd are no strangers to local audiences so next month’s visit to the George Lawton Hall is virtually a homecoming for the popular tribute band.
Formed five years ago, the Oldham-based group has a succession of tour dates taking them through to the end of the year and into 2021.As part of the itinerary, the Floyd visit Mossley on Friday, February 21.
They bring with them the music of one of the world’s most innovative bands.
And the audience can help the band celebrate a landmark achievement as this will be their 100th show.
With a stunning laser and video show to complement an exciting and accurate performance of music spanning the original band’s output, they perform a selection of tracks from across the Floyd’s discography in a two-and-a-half-hour set.
Classic albums Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall are well represented with a couple of less familiar tracks for the real aficionados.
The band line-up is: Rose Niland, Luke Siddall, Ross Samuels, Harry Somers, Lee Gilburt, Alan Tarpey and Jack White.
The show starts at 7.45 pm, with doors open from 7pm.
