About Us

The Mossley Correspondent is a free, monthly newspaper with a readership of 5,000 and growing across the area.

Set up in 2010, the newspaper is sister publication to the Saddleworth Independent newspaper, which has established itself as a popular, first-choice publication over the last six years.

It is not a directory. It is not a magazine. It is Mossley’s only newspaper with a top team of qualified journalists reporting on important stories, pictures, social, business and sporting events, all under the direction of Editor in Chief Aimee Belmore and Editor Trevor Baxter.

The newspaper is hand-delivered to more than 100 outlets across the community, so is guaranteed to be distributed, picked up and read on time. Outlets include pubs, restaurants and cafés, post offices and newsagents, and Mossley train station.
