The Mossley Correspondent is a free, monthly newspaper. It is part of the Stalybridge and Mossley Correspondent title which has a readership of 27,500 across the community, connecting local people with local businesses.
Set up in 2016, the newspaper is sister publication to the Saddleworth Independent newspaper, which has established itself as a popular, first-choice publication over the last six years. Its other sister publications are: The Stalybridge Correspondent and The Shaw and Crompton Correspondent.
It is Mossley’s only newspaper with a top team of qualified journalists reporting on important stories, pictures, social, business and sporting events, all under the direction of Editor in Chief Aimee Belmore and Editor Tony Bugby.
The newspaper is hand-delivered to more than 100 outlets across the community, so is guaranteed to be distributed, picked up and read on time. Outlets include pubs, restaurants and cafés, post offices and newsagents, and Mossley train station.
